Who we are
AME (Autonomous Matching Engine) is operated by bh-EDGE Management LLC, a Georgia limited liability company, 100 North Point Center, Suite 125, Alpharetta, GA 30022.
AME connects serious builders to potential collaborators and partners. This policy covers the AME website (meetame.com), the waitlist, applications for membership, and the AME member app (app.meetame.com). It explains what we collect at each stage, what we do with it, who else handles it, and how long we keep it.

What we store in your browser
AME sets no analytics cookie, and sets an advertising cookie only where advertising measurement is on. We use no analytics service, no tag manager, and no session recording. We use one advertising and measurement technology, the Meta Pixel. In the United States it is on unless you turn it off. Everywhere else it stays off until you accept it. See Cookies and Storage.
On the website we store six small items in your own browser, all of them AME’s own:

Each value is length-limited. This information is sent to AME with a waitlist or application submission, and it is also sent with the website and form activity events described below, which happen before you submit anything.
In the member app, our authentication provider sets the cookies that keep you signed in. They exist only while you have an account and are signed in, and they are described in Cookies and Storage.
Website and form activity events
We record a small number of limited website and form activity events. They happen while you are using the site, and most of them happen before you submit anything: opening the waitlist form, starting to fill a form in, reaching a later step, and whether a submission succeeded or failed. We do not send a form activity event merely because you load or read a page. Something you do has to start it.
These events do not include your name, email address, or form answers. They may include the page, the type of interaction, your visitor id and session id, the arrival information already stored in your browser, and ordinary technical information associated with the request. Where advertising measurement is on, they may also carry Meta’s identifiers _fbp and _fbc. Where it is off, they never do. We use these events to understand form usage, prevent abuse, and diagnose submission failures.
Every typeface, style, script, and media file on the website comes from AME’s own servers. There are two exceptions.
The Meta Pixel loads from Meta only where advertising measurement is on for you, and never before that has been decided.
Cloudflare Turnstile loads from Cloudflare. It is a bot-protection check that tells a person apart from an automated script, and it guards the waitlist and application forms against automated abuse. It loads when you open the waitlist form, and on the application form when you first type into it. It does not load while you are only reading a page. Any cookie Cloudflare sets for that check is Cloudflare’s own security cookie. AME does not use Turnstile for advertising or for measurement.
What we collect when you join the waitlist
Required: your name, email address, city, country, industry, a short description of what you do, why AME interests you, and how you heard about us.
Optional: one public link to your work. We do not open or fetch a waitlist link.
Recorded automatically: your IP address, your visitor id and session id, the arrival information above, the wording and version of each consent you gave and when, and, where advertising measurement is on, Meta’s identifiers _fbp and _fbc.
Nothing you submit to the waitlist is scored, ranked, or automatically evaluated. Joining the waitlist means we can contact you about AME.
What we collect when you apply
You give us: your name, email address, city, country, what best describes your work, the industries you want to build in, what you are working on now, a description of what you have built or done, one public link to your work, why AME interests you, and how you heard about us. You also confirm that you are 18 or older, that AME may review the link you gave, and that you accept the Terms of Use and this policy. We record which version of each you accepted and when.
Recorded automatically: your IP address, your visitor id and session id, the arrival information above, and the same Meta identifiers as the waitlist if you accepted advertising measurement.
The link you give us on an application is different from a waitlist link. AME may retrieve the public page at that address, once, to review it as part of evaluating your application. We fetch only the address you gave and that site’s own robots file, we follow at most a few redirects, we read a limited amount of the page, we never sign in to anything, and we never go past what that page shows anyone. We do not search for you by name and we do not use any third-party lookup service.
How we evaluate applications
AME uses automated systems to organize, score, compare, and evaluate application information, to determine eligibility, to assess matching compatibility, and to prioritize introductions. Human review may occur at any stage, and a person may decide your application after reviewing what those systems produce. Automated results do not guarantee an introduction.
In functional terms: our systems read what you submitted and the public page you linked, organize it into categories, compare it with what AME is looking for and with other applications, and produce a recommendation and a priority. We record the outcome of your application as accepted, deferred, or declined, and we keep a record of the decision, who or what made it, and when. We do not publish our scoring formulas, weights, internal thresholds, or safeguards, and we do not disclose them to applicants. We do not send application information to any external artificial-intelligence service.
What we collect when you become a member
Your account. When you are accepted you receive an invitation and create an account with our authentication provider, which handles your sign-in credentials. AME stores your email address, the fact that your invitation was accepted, your account status, and sign-in and security events.
Your questionnaire. The AME questionnaire asks about your work, your goals, the industries you want to build in and those you do not, what kind of collaborator you are looking for, how you work, your location and time zone, and your preferences about introductions. Your answers, and the profile AME builds from them, are the basis for every introduction.
Introductions and feedback. We record each introduction AME makes, what we shared with each member, whether it was viewed, any meeting time proposed, and the feedback you give us afterwards. We use feedback to improve your future introductions and to improve AME’s matching. We do not show the other member your feedback about them.
Support. If you write to us, we keep the correspondence so we can answer you and so we have a record of what was agreed.

Information we do not collect
We do not collect race or ethnicity, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation, gender identity, health information, disability status, biometric identifiers of any kind, genetic information, immigration status, precise location or GPS coordinates, government identification numbers, income, criminal history, or date of birth.
We do not collect or process payment information. We do not access your contacts, your calendar, or your email account.
Who we share information with
Other members. When AME introduces you to another member, we share with that member the information the introduction needs, which may include your name, a summary of your work and what you are looking for, our explanation of why the two of you fit, and a way to reach each other. We do not share your questionnaire answers themselves, your application, your payment information, or your feedback. Nothing about you is shared with any member before an introduction is made.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, under certain US state privacy laws, our use of the Meta Pixel may be considered ‘sharing’ your information for targeted advertising. You have the right to opt out of that sharing, and you can do it at any time on Your Privacy Choices. In the United States the Pixel runs unless you turn it off, so that sharing starts on your first visit. Everywhere else nothing is shared with Meta until you accept. Where measurement is on, information about your visit is shared with Meta through the Meta Pixel, including Meta’s identifiers _fbp and _fbc. We use it for conversion attribution, for retargeting, and for audience measurement of AME’s own advertising. You can reject or change this at any time on Your Privacy Choices. AME has no advertising business. We also honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track automatically, so if your browser sends either one, no sharing happens and we do not ask.
Service providers handle information on our behalf, only to provide their service to AME:

We require service providers to use personal information only to provide services to AME and to protect it appropriately.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to establish or defend legal claims, or in connection with a merger or acquisition. In that case this policy continues to apply until you are told otherwise.
How long we keep it
How long we keep your information depends on where you are with AME.

A meaningful interaction means joining or updating the waitlist, responding to something we asked you, applying for access, or using an AME account. Opening an email does not restart that clock, and neither does anything we do internally with your record.
We keep the IP address recorded with your waitlist signup or application for 30 days, then delete it. That happens on its own schedule, whether or not the rest of your record is still active.
If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a suppression list indefinitely, so that we do not email you again. It is used for nothing else.
Your choices and your rights
You can unsubscribe from any AME commercial email in one click. You can clear what AME stored in your browser at any time. You can ask to leave the waitlist, withdraw an application, close your account, or ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing legal@meetame.com. We will verify that the request comes from you before acting on it, and we will tell you if a law or a retention period above means we must keep something.

Children
AME is for people 18 and older. The waitlist and application forms ask you to confirm this before they will submit, and we record that confirmation.
We do not ask for your date of birth and we do not use identity documents to check your age. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn we have, we will delete it.
If you believe a person under 18 has joined the waitlist or applied, please notify us immediately at legal@meetame.com.
Security
We protect information with encryption in transit, restricted and logged administrative access, rate limiting, and validation of everything submitted. No system is perfectly secure, and we hold no security certifications. See our Security Statement.
Where this applies
AME is operated from the United States and AME’s systems are located in the United States.
We are not accepting waitlist signups or applications from Brazil at this time. If AME opens to Brazil later, we will publish the notices Brazilian law requires before accepting any Brazilian signup.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new effective date and version, and call out material changes clearly. Where we have your email address, we will tell you about material changes by email.
