Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
AME should be usable by everyone who wants to build something. We treat accessibility as part of the work, and we are not finished.
What we have built
These are implemented on the AME site today:
- Skip-to-content links, so keyboard and screen-reader users can bypass navigation
- A declared page language on every page, so screen readers pronounce content correctly
- Accessible names for interactive controls, with decorative elements hidden from assistive technology
- Reduced-motion support. AME’s homepage is heavily animated. If your system is set to reduce motion, we honor it — in both the stylesheet and the animation code
- Labelled form fields, so the waitlist form is announced correctly
- Keyboard-operable navigation and forms
- Text that scales with browser zoom and your font settings
- No image puzzle or timed challenge anywhere on the site
What we have not verified
- No third-party accessibility audit has been done. We do not claim WCAG conformance.
- No documented screen-reader testing pass across NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Colour contrast has not been measured across every component state.
- Target sizes have not been measured against the WCAG 2.2 minimum.
- The homepage is a scroll-driven audio-visual experience. We support reduced motion, but have not verified it with every assistive technology combination. You do not have to go through it to join the waitlist.
- The site requires JavaScript. There is no non-JavaScript version of the form.
- The homepage audio has no transcript. It carries no information you need in order to use the site.
If something does not work for you
Tell us and we will help you directly — including joining the waitlist for you if that is what it takes.
We aim to respond within 5 business days. If you are comfortable telling us the page, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology you use, that helps us fix it for everyone.
